Yulista Holding, LLC Warehouse Specialist (Supervisor) in Honolulu, Hawaii
The Warehouse Supervisor performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan. Work involves most of the following:
Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents,
Note and report discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations
Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods,
Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials,
Examine stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
This worker will operate a forklift and have a Type 4 license.
Must have a government Secret clearance.
Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, and customers.
Manually loads and unloads inventory received and/or leaving the warehouse.
Unpacks, shelves and/or places items in proper storage locations.
Performs required inventories, storage and property disposal.
Maintains warehouse stock rotation, sanitation and other required duties.
Operates warehouse forklift and flatbed truck.
Responsible for the maintenance of the office area including equipment maintenance, office supplies, inventory/ordering, and housekeeping of the facilities;
Coordinate office equipment maintenance, including copier, fax machine, etc.
Responsible for inventory of supplies, and purchasing.
Manage mail processes for shipping such as; Federal Express, UPS and ensure the shipping and receiving department has the information needed to successfully ship products.
Ability to operate an X-Ray machine.
Understanding ranks of military personnel.
Able to retrieve and input data into government provided software.
Participate in special projects.
Participate in required skills and knowledge training.
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Operate a forklift
This position will supervise the Warehouse Specialist working in that location.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong decision analysis and problem solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in order to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations, and to articulate complex issues. Specifically, the ability effectively to communicate with employees, customers, and clients.
Ability to use discretion when handling customer accounts and concerns.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
Exceptional time management and organization skills.
Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent phone etiquette.
Strong knowledge of office procedures and best practices (e.g., filing, answering telephones, receptionist duties, supply/equipment ordering, etc.) to perform daily assigned duties.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to use automated office equipment (e.g., photocopier, fax, personal computer, multi-line telephone, etc.).
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Strong computer skills. Ability to type 45 words per minute.Ability to do business ethically with customers, vendors, and co-workers. Ability to exercise resourcefulness in assisting customers.Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands, change approaches or methods to best fit the situation, renegotiate deadlines, and have the capability to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected priorities.Ability to generate suggestions for improving work flow; present ideas, and information, as well as have the ability to ask for help when needed.Ability to read and interpret documents such as employee handbooks, safety rules, Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ability to be customer focused.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state Driver’s License and be qualified to operate a forklift and have Type 4 license.
5+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Must have a government Secret clearance.
