Canon Solutions America Sr. Digital Service Engineers are responsible for servicing and maintaining Canon Solutions America supported cut sheet products and large format products in accordance with Canon Solutions America Service and Parts Standards to achieve efficiency and a high level of customer satisfaction. Using extensive product knowledge and customer service skills, you will diagnose and repair mechanical and software failures in an assigned territory. Using advanced diagnostic skills, you will resolve escalated technical or customer service issues in other territories when requested. You will be able to identify and understand complex issues, problems, and opportunities which may not have precedence, and take appropriate actions that are consistent with available facts.


Your qualifications must include a minimum of an Associates degree or equivalent training in Military/Trade School/Industry or equivalent experience or completion of an Electronics school or equivalent electronics training with at least three to four years of direct experience as a field technician in the office equipment industry; B&W and Color certified. You must have a deep and broad knowledge of all Canon products and possess network experience including LAN\WAS & TCPIP and knowledge of mainframe environments. You must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with supervisors, other team members, and with customers, and must be able to clearly communicate technical information, both orally and in writing. You must be able to effectively manage your own time and resources, and ensure that work is completed efficiently, including scheduling work to accommodate customer's needs and end user SLAs.

You must possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Depending on client needs and service agreements, certain technician jobs may require the ability to work a shift schedule, be on call, or travel occasionally.

Successful completion of the 120-day introductory period and completion of the Network Install Class are required.
